The aim was to create a magazine, which was built around creating a concept and concrete research for our main shoot. Whist understanding the magazine dazed and confused, the readers, layout and typography. This was done by looking at all the archives of the magazines, analysing each page and even looking for inspiration from other magazines. Our concept evolved by researching imagery, history, film, art, protests, emotions, articles and music. Which we then developed all ideas for the shoot that related to the concept but wasn’t taken literal. We could then research what we would use for the shoot for example; hair, make-up, clothing, props, lighting, background and poses.

We also worked on different areas for the whole magazine, creating the advert, trend story, writing the article, conducting a Q+A and street style photos which I did. I really enjoy being inspired by others outfits and taking photos of different people. Once we all had the main bulk for the magazine, we then created our own magazine and put our own twist on it.

I thoroughly enjoyed being on set and contributing to our shoot where I learnt so much.
